Fuel Pipe Trains

Engineered systems designed to safely supply and control the burner’s fuel and atomizing media. Each pipe train is customized to best meet the applications unique conditions and requirements.

Piping trains arrive ready for service, fully installed and tested, mounted on the burner or on a freestanding pipe rack assemblies.

All piping trains are built to NFPA requirements and can be constructed to meet any facility’s specific requirements such as ASME B31.1 or B31.3. Piping trains can be designed for electrical requirements from NEMA 12 to hazardous area classifications, such as Class 1 Division 2.

Gas fuel trains are typically constructed from Schedule 40 ASTM A-106 Grade B pipe with standard weight butt-welded fittings and 150 lb flanges for pipe sizes greater than 2 1/2″ and Schedule 40 ASTM A-106 Grade B pipe with 3000 lb forged steel threaded fittings for pipe sizes 2 1/2″ and smaller.

Pilot gas trains are typically constructed from Schedule 80 ASTM A-106 Grade B pipe with 3000 lb forged steel threaded fittings.

Fuel oil and atomizing media trains are typically constructed from Schedule 80 ASTM A-106 Grade B pipe with 3000 lb forged steel threaded fittings.
