Faber Burner Company History



1926 - Started as Faber Engineering Company in Philadelphia, PA, in 1926 by Mr. Leon Faber.

1940-1969 - Designed & manufactured industrial burners and pump sets. Heavy emphasis was on the conversion of coal- fired boilers to oil firing in the 1940s, ’50s and ’60s. Natural gas firing gained emphasis in the 1960s.

1968 - Purchased by E. Keeler Company in 1968. Moved to Williamsport, PA.

1989 - E. Keeler Company was purchased by Tampella Ltd. in October 1989, changing the name to Tampella Power Corporation.

1996 - Present Management purchased Faber Burner Group from Tampella Power Corporation (Presently called KavernerPulping, Inc.) in 1996, changing the name to Faber Burner Company and moving to Lock Haven, PA.

2000 & beyond - Continuous improvement of our technology, design and manufacturing processes to ensure the highest quality combustion equipment available.
